Social Action & Volunteer Opportunities
Many of us feel the pull to help repair the world, but aren’t always sure where to begin. In the spirit of Tikkun Olam—repairing the world through education, awareness, and action—we create meaningful opportunities for our community to get involved and make a difference.

Social Action
Our social action efforts include:
- Collection drives for food, toys, school supplies, and clothing
- Participation in community initiatives such as 5K fundraising walks
- Advocacy efforts like postcard campaigns that encourage civic engagement
- Monthly highlights of local charities and organizations, with links to donate, volunteer, and take action
- Resources that connect our community to broader issues, including the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism
Each month, we offer simple, accessible ways for you to engage—so you can turn your desire to help into meaningful action.
Intercommunity Relations
Building strong relationships beyond our congregation is an essential part of who we are. Through intercommunity work, we connect with other organizations and communities to foster understanding, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Our intercommunity efforts focus on:
- Partnering with local organizations for joint service and advocacy projects
- Supporting community-wide events and initiatives
- Creating opportunities to learn from and engage with diverse perspectives
These connections strengthen both our congregation and the wider community, helping us work together toward a more just and compassionate world.
