In our loving relationships we often struggle to find the right thing to say. The secret may be to say little and do much. As Rabbi Jonathan Sacks teaches, “The sages valued silence. They called it “a fence to wisdom”. R. Shimon ben Gamliel said, “All my days I have grown up among the wise, and I have found nothing better than silence.” Let’s do our best to show our love in silent devotion to others and to thecauses close to our hearts.
